Biography
Before discovering my passion for pole dancing I trained extensively as a dancer firstly in Perth, WA from the age of 11 until the age of 15. I then moved to London to complete my studies in dance. I trained intensely in many forms of dance, predominantly in contemporary and classical dance. I have had experience performing with professional contemporary and classical dance companies, working in many different venues including theatres in and around London. Whist in London I also worked in television and film.
In January 2006 I started pole dancing lessons at in Perth WA. In September of that year I won the WA heat of Miss Pole Dance Australia 2006 and later in November 2006 went on compete in the National Championships competition held in Sydney. After poledancing for only 8 months I was able to win the title of Miss Pole Dance Australia 2006.
In 2007 I was selected as one of a panel of 3 judges brought together to adjudicate the Miss Pole Dance Australia 2007. The rules of Miss Pole Dance Australia state that the winner of the previous year cannot enter the competition, so I traned very hard for 2 years in prearation for the 2008 competition when I would again be allowed to compete.
All my training, blood sweat and tears paid off and in the Australian Championships this year (2008) I was again able to claim the title of Miss Pole Dance Australia 2008.
This year brings the World Pole Dancing Championships 2009 to the table, which will be held in Jamaica at Hedonism III from Monday 20th - Saturday 25th April 2009. It is a competition that will bring together the elite winners of Miss Pole Dance competitions from various countries around the world. This competition is not to be confused with the smaller World Pole Federation Miss Pole Dance World competition in Amsterdam, which was cancelled two days before the event.
I am currently residing in Las Vegas where I perform with Cirque du Soleil's Zumanity show. I also work exclusively for the performance agency Perth Stripper in Australia.
I was recently voted Best Female Entertainer at the 2007/2008 Striptease Artist Recognition (STAR) Awards and won the presteigous title of Hustler Miss Centerfold Oceania 2007/2008.
